Here you will also find our relevant book store and a chat room and social network dedicated to non-Hodgkin lymphoma and related topics. Our book store consists of books about non-Hodgkin lymphoma and cancer survival. Our chat room and social network is designed for non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients, families, friends, and clinicians. Our chat room and social network allows for an unlimited number of users and all we ask is that the conversations stay within the realm of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and related topics.
News sources are selected based on what information would be beneficial to the non-Hodgkin lymphoma patient, patient’s family, and oncologist. This is a news journal and it’s purpose is to provide current breakthroughs in terms of the biological or medical understanding of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
This news journal is also about hope. The power of hope in healing and eliminating non-Hodgkin lymphoma is essential. On a personal note, my wife has had non-Hodgkin lymphoma now for thirteen years. According to doctors she should not be here today. She is currently living a full and productive life following a stem cell transplant a year and a half ago. Her stem cell transplant and subsequent new immune system, we hope will result in a complete abatement of her cancer. My wife’s stem cell transplant is one of the many options available for the non-Hodgkin lymphoma patient.
Breakthroughs in research on non-Hodgkin lymphoma are occurring frequently. The prudent non-Hodgkin lymphoma patient and family should keep up with the current understanding of treatments and cutting edge technologies. In many cases, the patient may even know more then the oncologist simply because the patient can concentrate on just his or her cancer, while the oncologists must deal with many types of cancer. Hence the need for this non-Hodgkin lymphoma news journal.
I initially put this journal together as a means to provide my wife and myself information on the latest cutting edge technologies for the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. I later decided, why not make it public, in order to provide other patients and families information on what I found. The news presented here comes from RSS feeds and will update automatically when new articles are available from the source. Book mark this site and view it daily to know about the most cutting edge treatment and research results about non-Hodgkin lymphoma
The Internet can be a powerful tool for the dissemination of information. For the non-Hodgkin lymphoma patient, living in the age of information technology brings benefits for knowledge growth which was unheard of fifteen years ago. Knowledge brings about understanding of cutting edge treatments. Most importantly, understanding creates hope for the non-Hodgkin lymphoma patient.
Here you also find a list of risk factors for the development of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, as well as statistics about this lymphoma cancer. Refer to the left navigation bar for these pages. We have also included some interesting and highly beneficial videos about non-Hodgkin lymphoma which includes stories of hope and inspiration. The following is our current related article section, current videos, followed by the most current news about non-Hodgkin lymphoma. If the information presented here is helpful to the non-Hodgkins lymphoma patient, family and oncologist, then we have met our objective.
